Designation Vice President - Financial Control
Job Description
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of timely and accurate financial statements and accounting records in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial risks, and provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Design, implement, and maintain strong internal control frameworks to safeguard assets, prevent misreporting, and ensure data accuracy; regularly evaluate and improve control effectiveness.
  • Develop and update financial policies and procedures to promote consistent and efficient financial practices.
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems and tools, working closely with technology teams to ensure seamless integration.
Desired Profile
  • Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/IAS) and familiarity with US GAAP.
  • Solid understanding of accounting within financial services, including complex financial instruments and structures.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading transformation initiatives such as system implementations, process improvements, or organizational changes.
  • Experience with modern data and analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, AI/ML technologies) is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience in controllership activities such as financial close, reconciliations, disclosures, and reporting.
