Designation Vice President - Electronic Trading Risk Manager
Job Description
  • Assess risks associated with electronic trading activities, including market impact and the prevention of disorderly trading conditions
  • Oversee front-office execution controls, ensuring appropriate thresholds, processes, and procedures are in place
  • Drive enhancements to the electronic trading control framework and related governance structures
  • Support regulatory inquiries, internal assessments, and remediation initiatives
  • Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Agentspace, RoGo) to improve efficiency, automate workflows, and generate actionable insights
  • Conduct periodic reviews of algorithm testing, kill switches, stress testing, and capacity controls
Desired Profile
  • Experience in electronic trading, technology, or quantitative roles within financial services (e.g., investment banking or asset management)
  • Understanding of equities and fixed income market structure, regulation, and electronic trading risks
  • Ability to work with complex datasets and deliver technical or analytical solutions
  • Experience supporting regulatory-driven remediation programs and governance frameworks
  • Experience handling regulatory audits or inquiries
