Designation	Solution Architect
Job Description	Lead the migration process from on-premise infrastructure to the Azure Cloud platform. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design an optimized cloud architecture. Conduct a comprehensive security assessment of the existing applications. Perform threat modelling to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend security measures. Collaborate with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to validate the security assessment findings and ensure the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) is well implemented across all applications. Conduct a comprehensive security assessment of the existing applications. Perform threat modelling to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend security measures. Collaborate with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to validate the security assessment findings and ensure the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) is well implemented across all applications. Analyze the current system and develop an architecture diagram that outlines how the tools will be deployed and integrated on the cloud platform. Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance are considered in the design. Evaluate the existing web applications and propose a simplification plan. Identify opportunities to streamline the applications and minimize dependencies. Aim to create a new cloud-based platform while preserving essential functionalities.
Desired Profile	Extensive experience as a Solution Architect, preferably with a focus on cloud technologies, specifically Microsoft Azure. Strong understanding of security principles and experience in conducting security assessments and threat modelling. Proficiency in designing scalable and resilient cloud architectures. Solid knowledge of web application architecture and simplification strategies. Familiarity with Azure services and tools, including VMs, storage, networking, and security features. Experience with POC development and implementing microservices and Kubernetes for application rearchitecting. Familiarity with Azure Databricks and its capabilities for advanced analytics and data processing.
