Job Description
  • Ensuring a work environment which inculcates right business ethics, team working, high performance culture, with sustainable people retention and development strategies.
  • Achieves the region’s revenue and profitability.
  • To direct the Sales team and establish sales targets brand wise, pack wise as per business plan. Cascade the targets across geography – monthly, weekly targets.
  • To motivate & direct Sales team to enhance coverage, distribution and display objectives, drive sales to meet sales targets through the distribution channels
  • Responsible for the Region’s forecasting, sales tracking, distribution and productivity objective.
  • Responsible for building and managing the Dealer and distributor network
  • Responsible for collections in time and follow-up of out standings
  • Have a clear focus to build Distribution, Visibility and Volumes through marketing initiatives.
  • Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that effect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability. Disseminate information to team.
  • To analyze stock movement/availability.
  • Implements sales programs by developing field sales action plans, sales and compliance calendar. Work out a training calendar for all in the Sales Organization and implement the same.
Desired Profile
  • Full-time MBA with atleast 12-15 years of post-qualification Sales and Distribution Management experience.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of recent sales experience in FMCG company of repute, with a vast (pan India) distribution network, is a must. Should have headed regions with a turnover of over not less than INR 80 – 100 crores.
