Designation Automation Design Specialist
Job Description
  • Design Automation Concepts for Fulfillment Centers (Receiving, Storage, Picking, Consolidation and Packaging), 
  • Bring in expertise with respect to various automation concepts used in the likewise industry, cross pollinate from comparable industries
  • Keep oneself abreast of the developments in the technology space, know what developments are happening
  • Develop a good grip of the current processes and metrics, 
  • Create a generation view for all the sub-functions of FC - create a technological road map and maturity profiling, showcase a roadmap for the metric improvements
  • Identify improvement areas to incremental/ step-jump of metrics
  • Align with the Design function on the proposed concepts and conduct POC

  • Strong design Thinking - ability to identify and articulate problems and opportunities
  • Ability to bring innovative thinking
  • Good understanding of complex Warehouse processes
  • Knowhow of the technology space and vendor base
