Job Description
  • Ability to understand the business, develop data-driven solutions to address business problems and independently manage end-to-end project communication with business partners, mentor junior analysts, lead by example etc. and display a proactive learning attitude.

  • Design and development of MIS/Business reporting, Data Standardization Processes, Ad hoc analysis
  • Centralization of projects in COE
  • On-time delivery and quick TAT, multi-task and manage multiple projects independently and helps junior analysts deliver, provide technical/non technical guidance as required
  • Automation of BAU, develop self-service solutions and deliver business value, set-up best in class in-house support
  • Execution and delivery on MIS/Data Management requirements
  • Ensure adherence and improvise existing Change Management process
  • Standardization of metrics and templates
  • Provide business insights
  • Creation of new reporting requirements (Regional and Global Reporting)
  • Process Automation and Enhancements
  • Development of Self Service Business Intelligence Capabilities
  • Defining Process documentation and coding standards
  • Effectively communicate strategic considerations with team, partners and senior management
  • Share best practices across SIS groups and implement best practices, drive data and analytics solutions

  • Presentation of results to business partners and COE senior management Interact regularly with Partner leadership to set and manage expectations aligned to group capabilities and work to deepen existing relationships
  • Manage a team of 5-8 analysts
  • Coach all team members by sharing Business, Functional and Technical expertise
  • Be a direct interface of the team with the various stakeholders
  • Be directly accountable for flawless execution and delivery on meeting the reporting requirements
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs
  • Manage and mentor a team of 8-10 information solutions analysts
  • Continually identify opportunities for advancing the reporting capabilities through process automation and enhancement
  • Ensure consistency of metrics across reports and adhere to the data quality standards of the team
  • Define and adherence to coding standards and MIS processes
  • Manage/Mentor a team of Analysts, Senior Analyst, Principal Analysts in the delivery of respective projects
  • Design and development of MIS/Data Management activities
  • Participate in data initiatives to streamline processes, data enrichment and improve the data quality of the reporting process
  • Share best practices developed in the processes across Information solutions group
  • Identify opportunities to create to deliver value add to the business and lead them
Desired Profile
  • Master/Bachelor degree in Information Technology/Information Systems/Computer Applications/Engineering/Business Administration from a premier institute
  • People management experience mandatory
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in MIS/Reporting/Data analytics/Data Management within Banking/Financial Services/Consulting/Analytics Industry
  • Program managing a large MIS or Data Management Initiatives Hands-On knowledge on at least two of the following technologies SAS (Advanced), UNIX, COGNOS, Tableau/Micro strategy, VBA, Automation etc.
  • Highly motivated, able to work independently, self-starter; and enjoys problem solving
  • Good exposure to Financial Services businesses
  • Possess and apply sound decision-making disciplines
  • Detail-oriented and must have an aptitude for solving unstructured problems
  • Strong process/project management skills. Organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skill (verbal and written) and able to articulate point of view and interact well with regional decision management/product team, technology and cross country teams.
  • Good project management skills and leadership potential
  • Working experience in sales incentive computations and managing RM queries would be an added advantage.
  • Working experience in Visualization tools like Microstrategy/Tableau/Cognos will be viewed favorably
  • Experience working in data warehouse implementations would be a plus
