Hiring For One of the Leading MNC.
Job Description

Overseeing all labor compliance related matters of both the units, with help of Sr MGR (HR) and MGR (Personnel)
Identifying value adding and cost adding activities done by employees, and eliminating all cost adding work
Increasing the output per man year, by reducing the number of employees engaged for doing tasks – corporate and unit level
Reworking contracts with contractors to be output based, in order to drive performance and reduce man days engaged for the company. Identify further areas for outsourcing.
Reduce absenteeism amongst the workers in both of the units, and design policies to reduce it
Rationalizing salary, grades and designations of employees within the organization to make it flat and fair, and removing all unnecessary layers
Building a performance and value driven culture within the company and of transparency, learning and trust amongst all employees of the company
Talent acquisition activities to be run with the help of Sr MGR (HR)
Drive the finalization of HR policies and processes through MGR (HR – Process & Policy) and finalization of HR manual
Oversee the digitization of HR related activities through HRMS and biometric attendance, and automate the payroll and compliance activities
Identifying the non-performers/excess staff and create a Performance Improvement Plan for them which will lead to their improvement or separation. Also to run the process of separation professionally and unbiasedly
Identify all key roles, create succession plans for all these roles and eventually evolve a system for succession planning for each and every employee in the company
Ensure a balanced workload for each employee by mapping activities of each one, and ensuring all have workload for 50 hours per week for staff
Work with MGR (HR – Process & Policy) to identify digital tools to introduce to make all HR related activities human-interface free to the maximum extent possible. Roll this out at all the branches as well.
Identify a robust knowledge-management system for training and developing existing talent and transferring knowledge from experts within the company
Build a robust value system within the company that also translates into their assessments
Roll out the KPIs and KRAs in the organization, and guide/train all HODs through the process of setting them and reviewing them
Doing all Talent Management activities directly, and building a team for Talent Acquisition, HR MIS, Payroll & Compliance and unit-level Talent Management

Desired Profile
  • Must have experience of minimum 15 years in an HR role, with 3 years in a leadership HR role
  • Must have worked in Karnataka for at least 3 years and be well-versed with Karnataka labour laws
  • Must have worked in a manufacturing MNC in India for at least 10 years of his career
  • Must have worked in an HR role of at least 1 company where employment of more than 3000 employees in the areas he was overseeing
  • Must have qualification of MBA (HR) as a minimum
  • Should be willing to shift into our campus within 1 month of joining
