Designation Area Sales Manager - With Leading Healthcare Industry Client
Job Description
  • Geographical responsibility area: Leads will be assigned across India and Sub-continent
  • Define department organizational structure: This position directly reports to India country manager-Sales. And to Regional/APAC Commercial Director and to Divisional Vice President globally.
  • Growth opportunities: This position allows the candidate to grow as Regional and Country level sales lead and eventually to the APAC Sales lead

Management responsibilities:

  • Provide the adequate training, coach the candidate on individual merits and improvement areas
  • Provide all necessary sales tools to cut down the total sales cycle, help to strategize in each step of sales cycle

Main Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibilities (act as lead with full accountability)
  • Own the full responsibility of the territory, sales quota and deliver consistently
  • Secondary responsibilities (make significant contribution to business activities led by others)
  • Build the new sales pipeline for future business growth, establish new partnerships and create new market opportunities to increase the market size and STARLIMS market share
Desired Profile
  • 5+ years industry experience in a laboratory or science-based industry with knowledge of Laboratory Equipment, Lab Solutions, Informatics (LIMS, ELN, SDMS, CDS, COMPLINACE SOFTWARE or SCIENTIFIC SOFTWARE)
  • 5 to 10 years’ enterprise software, Equipment, and other solutions sales experience in Relevant software and Industry segment
  • Must have carried and successfully delivered a minimum of ~1M quota

Preferred Experience/Background:

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent in Science, Engineering and other relevant disciplines
  • Position requires ability to comprehend industry specific laboratory knowledge, compliance and customer needs (Pharma, Quality / Manufacturing, F&B, Petro Chemical, Public Health, Forensic and Clinical).

Target Companies

  • Target Companies: Major Pharma manufacturing, Contract Testing labs, Biotech companies, O&G, Energy, FMCG Manufacturing, Environmental testing labs, Other major manufacturing industries
  • Companies off limits: Govt and Public sector labs, Forensic labs

  • Experience-based OR Behavioral / Leadership based:
  • Should be a mix and best of the breed experience and Behavioral candidates those who are with proven record
