• Primary focus is to support highly available, robust, and resilient infrastructure underlying an Applications services environment, with a focus on automated deployments as well as operational systems elements of deployed services.
• The prime directive is to ensure that systems infrastructure operate nominally, and any errors reported by monitoring systems be investigated, understood, and resolved, through further escalation if necessary.
• The support would be provided variant in order to collaborate closely with the larger global team, sharing on-call rotation to provide 24x7x365 operations coverage.
• Render self-service capabilities for internal customers through standardization, engineering, automation, and scale, down & up the service layers
• Proactively acts to understand customer needs, offers consultancy, proposes standards, and engineers innovative solutions to empower/enable
• Provide Infrastructure representation, subject matter expertise, and leadership for escalations/issues pertinent to one’s subject matter area
• Implement and support automated server provisioning and system configuration management procedures as part of our IaaS service offering (VMWare-based virtualization platform, bare-metal, and public clouds such as AWS and Azure)
• Contribute to planning, solutioning, and engineering efforts for disaster recovery, capacity expansion, component upgrading and system hardening, and process improvements
• Contribute to service optimization: architecture resiliency, capability elasticity, support scalability, software runtime, server performance, I/O performance
• Create documentation and training materials for support responsibilities listed above

• 4~7 years of experience in the pertinent technical domain(s).
• Good understanding of modern server operating systems (Windows). Hands-on experience administrating or engineering for Windows server or its services & tooling such as AD, WDS, Terminal Services, Licensing service, and MSI packaging. Knowledge and/or experience with Linux operating system is big plus.
• Strong propensity for standardization and automation. Knowledge and proven proficiency in scripting languages such as python and/or PowerShell. Experience coding to integrate or automate is a plus, esp. coding to consume REST API.
• Configuration management experience with SCCM, Puppet or similar frameworks, and hands-on proficiency and experience with automating operating system provisioning and lifecycle, application deployment, and service monitoring in either data centers or public cloud(s) such as AWS and Azure
• Familiarity with modern enterprise server hardware architecture, virtualization, and cloud technologies. Experience configuring, administrating, or supporting UCS hardware is a plus.
• Good understanding of distributed computing concepts & implementations, up and down the stacks, such as TCP/IP protocols and service layers, esp. in the context of public clouds.
• Can effectively multi-task, prioritize, communicate, contribute, collaborate, and deliver with limited guidance, autonomously as well as as part of a larger global team.
