• The candidate is expected to understand the business requirements and translate them into Solution and Technical Design.
• The candidate should also be able to review code and suggest improvements.
• The candidate is also expected to deliver high quality code and coach the team to write high quality code.
• The candidate is expected to have good communication skills and work closely with Global peers.
• Should be able to understand different environments and trouble shoot issues and adapt to new technologies.
• Take responsibility and ownership for the analysis, design, coding, testing and status reporting of a work product (could be a module or a project)
• Ensure that the team produces code with least production defects, low defect density and defect age.
• Ensure all the unit test plans and test results are documented
• Ensure adherence to solution delivery standards for the project/module deliverables.
• Review design, code and test plan and test cases.
• Provide status reports for the work product (module or project).
• Troubleshoot project issues and engage the appropriate resources as needed
• Escalate any significant issues to the appropriate management team as needed
• Provide leadership and mentoring to team

• 12+ years relevant work experience
• 4+ years of technical leadership experience
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Waterfall principles and practices.
• Experience with online, Digital Marketing, loyalty solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent negotiation skills, time management skills
• Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize
• Excellent listening skills
• Self-starter with a strong initiative
• Ability to thrive in a highly matrixed environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously
