• Review of daily processing of corporate action events.
• Daily management of the Team’s workflow.
• Review of corporate action notifications prepared for Investment Managers.
• Review of corporate action elections to custodians.
• Review of notification of corporate events to Fund Administrators.
• Reconciliation and settlement of corporate action entitlements.
• Identification of general improvements and playing a leading role in their implementation.
• Procedures review and updating
• Project involvement
• Team Management & managing people
• Providing strong leadership to the team and guiding them to achieve business results
• Supporting management in team wide iniatives and playing a crucial role in driving the culture of Accountability, Opportunity and Integrity within the Middle Office group

• Tertiary qualifications in a business discipline.
• Overall post-qualification experience of 8-9 years with a Financial institution, preferably working in a Corporate actions team for a Global Custodian or Asset Manager.
• Strong Knowledge of Corporate Actions Life cycle, Mandatory & Voluntary events processing, knowledge of various markets and strong understanding of CA processing in a Middle office/Back office operations.
• Excellent knowledge of the Financial/Banking Services industry & Shared Services operating models.
• Previous experience working with tight deadlines in a high paced environment.
• Strong MS Office skills, word, excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Financial Markets, Portfolio accounting and Funds Management.
• Working knowledge of Accounting (e.g. Dimension), Custody settlement systems along with Aladdin will be highly regarded.
• Strong experience of managing a team
