Technical activities

• An IT professional with 8+ years of experience in Test design and automation.
• Experience on Selenium, cucumber is a must
• Knowledge on testing frameworks (Mocha, Webdrive.io, Jest)
• Demonstrated experience with object oriented software development; JavaScript/TypeScript and expertise on Node.js
• Technical knowledge of IT standard programming languages and design methodologies and practices
• Familiar with common automation test challenges such as test data, environment configurations and risk-based test coverage
• Functional, Integration, User Acceptance and Regression Testing Experience
• Familiarity with software development methodologies(Agile)
• Analyse testing strategies and breaks down technical tasks into logical pieces for successful automation test implementation across various applications
• Design and implement test scripts on test tools and scripting languages.
• Introducing design patterns on testing, build reusable frameworks
• Relationship management
• Establish communication channel with relevant stakeholders

• Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required

General

• Undertakes any necessary training associated with the duties of the post and participates in training and development procedures
• Complies with all company health and safety policies and legislation in the performance of their duties and responsibilities
• Maintains confidentiality and observes data protection guidelines
• Manage expenses in accordance with company expense policy
• Carries out any other reasonable duties commensurate with their capability

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a designer role
• Ability to work in a high pressure, deadline driven environment, managing multiple priorities
• Excellent communication skills, experience working with individuals in remote locations preferred
• Experience working in software product automation
• Expert in knowledge and hands-on experience with open source technologies and emerging technologies
• Team player who is willing to work outside immediate team to deliver on common organizational goals
• Equal and balanced development knowledge needed to build automation frameworks.
• Humility - do whatever is necessary to help the team achieve its goal, recognizing the value in all team members and by example lead others to the same opinion
