• Seamlessly working within a high functioning management team and continuously adding value and providing solutions.
• Selecting, managing and supporting a team of field QHSSE specialists that collaboratively provide industry leading project support.
• Creating and consistently influencing a project-wide culture of success that encourages continuous improvement.
• Ensuring that all Drilling and Seismic acquisition project scopes are managed within a legislatively compliant operational envelope that continuously integrates up-to-date industry best practise.
• Oversee the creation and implementation of a robust and comprehensive QHSSE management system that ensures risk is managed as low as reasonably practicable.
• Manage and oversee various interfaces (including contracts, bridging document and guidance notes) between parties employed on the project.
• Be primary contact with all major stakeholders including, as a minimum: government departments, Client, service companies, contractors and workforce representatives.
• Amalgamating Business Continuity Management (ISO 2230) and emergency contingency planning/ response to prevent and/ or mitigate reasonably foreseeable threats.

• An Honours Degree (MSc preferred) from a reputable university in a subject that is conducive to project success.
• A minimum of 15 years industry experience within risk management roles, at least of which 5 years should be within management in the oil & gas (drilling/ Wells) industry.
• Proof of continuous professional development (CPD) where the candidate has successfully managed their own development within their career.
• Must have excellent spoken and written English with commensurate report writing and presenting skills.
