• Works with Architecture and Engineering to develop software systems which manage networking constructs like firewalls, load balancers, SDN, routers and switches
• Understands complex interconnectivity, topology and relationships of client server, virtual, container and physical environments
• Incorporates KPI metrics into all deployed, modified, or scripted components which individual has responsibility
• Collaborates with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software applications built offsite
• Provides technical direction and system architecture for development teams
• Serves as a proficient technical resource, focusing in the Network Automation space
• Accountable for improvement in team measures of productivity and quality
• Become a trusted partner for cross-functional leaders across the enterprise

• 12+ Years of overall IT experience with 5+ years of hands-on Software development using Agile/Scrum/Kanban & Solid understanding of IT Networking and Network topologies (Router, Switch, Firewall, Proxy, etc)
• Team management experience to lead, guide, mentor SMEs. Perform team assessments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as code, Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA & OOD)
• Experience with Git, Jira, Jenkins, Continuous Build systems with automated testing (unit and end-to-end testing)
• Good understanding of Java SpringBoot, Netflix OSS frameworks
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
