The Manager Electrical Maintenance is responsible for

• Managing Electrical, Electronics & Instrument maintenance activities to ensure the availability and reliability of equipment & machines of Plant with optimum resource available in order to meet the department goals and targets with full safety.
• To ensure interruptions free operation of the mills and machines. Ensure the availability of the machines & spares. To control the maintenance cost .
• Technological up gradation of older machines
• Enhancement of Safety at Work Place

Key Objective / Overall Job Responsibility

• Manage the Electrical,Electronics & Instrument maintenance activities of Plant to prevent and control failures.
• Ensure activities like TBM, CBM, DM and SAP compliances, delay analysis and necessary corrective actions
• Monitoring and control of various quality parameters
• Drive improvement activities like DM, Kaizen, SGA and TPM etc. in the department
• Manage safety, health and environment (SHE) compliance in the Electrical Maintenance of Plant
• Submit necessary report to statutory bodies for Electrical activities

• Experience in the maintenance department of organization of a similar scale and related sector
• Deep understanding of the plant Electrical/Electronics Maintenance activities
• Technical Competencies: Should have sound knowledge of furnace and rolling mill electrical & electronics (Power/Drives/PLC/HMI/Automation) system
• Behavioral Competencies: Safety/Ergonomics awareness, Cost cautious, improvement oriented and focused towards achievement orientation.
