Designation Director - Facilities & Corporate Services - With Leading IT Industry Client
Job Description

Facilities Management (SME)

  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of maintenance and upkeep for multiple facilities.
  • Develop active Partner relationship, monitor accountability, program management, vendor management and review programs for delivering consistent operational strategies.
  • Critical environment management & Risk mitigation, 100% uptime support towards critical business environment
  • Ensure consistency & reliability in delivering workplace programs that has direct customer impact – Transport, Café, Pantry, Office supplies, Move management, Internal events, EHS, Internal Branding programs etc.
  • Drive performance management thru SLA’s & metrics, report inconsistencies and provide thought leadership to reduce business impact & workplace risks.
  • Creates processes for facilities and methods to ensure business continuity in case of disaster working closely with Corporate Security team.
  • Drive safety communications, emergency evacuation procedures, tests and drills.
  • Coordinate activities during exception or emergency situation.
  • Proactively manage and support Facilities communications; operates as “program office” for Facilities & Corporate Services team
  • Streamline Travel processes and procedures to enhance travel experiences for travelling associates and enable VISA services thru authorized service partners.
  • In depth knowledge of SEZ formalities, process and liaison with competent authorities to deliver seamless operations.
  • Ability to provide outside-in perspectives and benchmarking data.
  • Relationship management – vendors, builders and partners
  • People Management at best.

  • Champions organization's project management methodology, tools, and techniques.
  • Consults on project planning and management of high-risk, high-impact projects.
  • Monitors industry for fresh approaches and tools for project management.
  • Communication to stake holders and Business leaders as appropriate
  • Financial management and process adherence
  • Local Liaison with SEZ officers, Landlord representatives and internal stake holders to efficiently manage vendor supplies, resource movement and tracking.

External Resource Management (Extensive)

  • Interprets documents detailing service provisions and financial arrangements.
  • Manages actual and perceived conflict of interest issues.
  • Reviews and monitors vendor performance against contracts and agreements.
  • Maintains network of internal and external contacts re resources in the marketplace.
  • Seeks and qualifies alternative external resources as appropriate.
  • Influences existing and new vendor relationships and the approved vendor list.
Desired Profile
  • 10-15 years’ minimum experience in corporate real estate or related field.
  • Bachelor in Engineering (or) Masters in Business Administration (or) equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills is a must.
  • Knowledge of SEZ processes and procedures
  • Proven interpersonal skills and ability to develop trust and influence others
  • Excellent analytical skills, use of data base and spreadsheets
  • A practical sense and ability to implement change management strategies and programs.
