Job Details

• Should be conversant of Material data management Like SAP, or by MS Excel and also based on manual methods like stock card and Bin cards etc.
• Should have handled especially Civil, Mechanical /Electrical stores for power plant projects and inventory.
• Knowledge of electrical motors / panel / bus bar /transformer and the spares for the same with the accessories.
• Arranges in advance for the site facilities on unloading equipments storage.
• To ensure the smooth and uninterrupted deliveries and issue of material.
• To choose the storage requirements based on items open to atmosphere or closed storage facility& to follow the Storage procedures as per OEM recommendations.
• Preparation of receiving reports, proper maintenance of stock records and that proper maintenance of material issued, Supervises warehouse operations.
• Responsible for Receipt of materials / maintenance of documents for goods arrived and recording the quality engineers/site engineers acceptance or rejections, compilation of these documents for further usage.
• Keeps safety requirements uppermost in priority in performing all Unloading activities within his responsibility, having knowledge on rigging/material handling etc.
• Overseas the Sub contractor material handing team, deliveries of material to respective disciplines.
• Material handling includes site construction Materials & equipments proper stacking /properly protected from local seasonal weather conditions, effective management without allowing room for pilferage in storage.
• Checks site requisitions for purchase against stock and previously placed purchase orders to avoid duplication.
• Receipt of materials from suppliers and issue to contractors. Updates on the material status.
• Support purchase of petty and emergency items at site.
• Assisting in hand over material to concerned parties, e.g. customer, as per contract.
• Shall help the Planning engineer / Contract Manager for insurance related issues etc. at site.
• Should have handled contractors of different discipline and the reconciliation for the issued /Installed and customer handed over of materials.
• Coordinate with customer for security clearances etc.

• Should be able write in English and Speak in English and Hindi.
• Coordination with internal & external agencies during the execution of project
• Should be well versed with MS-Office including Word, Excel.
• Well organized and capable of meeting deadlines.
• The candidate should possess experience in coordination of handling the Heavy shipments /equipments/ machineries related to power plant and knowledge on parts.
• Having knowledge in identifying and segregation of all Civil construction materials, the Mechanical equipments like ID fans, pump/ coolers/Heat exchanger/Lube and fuel systems items and spares of Mechanical, E&I equipments, should be able to differentiate civil, hardwares, piping materials accessories/valves gaskets materials.
