• Architect, build and deploy cloud platform microservices by using spring boot
• Champion innovative solutions and interact with top-caliber software engineers, web developers, and QA automation resources contributing within our growing ecosystem of cutting edge SOA based applications
• Ensuring best practices are followed - enforcing coding standards (SDLC guidelines) - JavaDocs, Unit Tests and performing code reviews
• Mentor other developers to help grow their software development skillsets
• Actively work with the team and managers in continuously improving SDLC process and the efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering team.

• Strong understanding of Microservices and Cloud Native Application architectures
• Excellent in development and deployment of MicroServices by using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud and API gateway (Netflix Zuul)
• Expert level Java skills: Can write non-trivial distributed applications using Java libraries. Excellent understanding of Generics, Concurrency, streams, java collections
• Requires expertise on Core Spring and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Spring Security) skills
• Define, communicate and enforce design/coding standards. Facilitate technical design reviews, ensuring adherence to architectural standards, and consistency across organizational and design boundaries
• Develop the logical and technical architecture for project and platform initiatives, and collaborates with project teams to realize them
• Identify necessary non-functional requirements (performance, security, reusability, and operational concerns) and participate in the development of conceptual architecture
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and testing tools such as Junit and Mockito
• Strong demonstrated usage of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, SonarCube etc.
• Strong DB experience in Relational DB's and at least one NOSQL db, like for example Mongo DB, Cassandra
• Experience with Docker containers on Google Cloud Platform, powered by Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of implementing and consuming Restful/HTTP protocols
• Experience with Web frameworks like React, Redux and Webpack is a plus
• Evaluate technology, security, and performance, availability, and interoperability requirements and produce high level design deliverables that enable development teams to produce products that are flexible, scalable, and secure
• Build POCs for ideas and present them effectively to the stakeholders
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
• Candidate should be proactive & possess strong analytical abilities, problem solving techniques and object-oriented software design skills
• Should have excellent written communication skills and verbal agility.
