Hiring For One of the Leading Energy Firm.
Job Description
  • Would be responsible for generating business for the ETRM practice in line with the targets set by the Management.
  • Initial activity would include understanding the organizations solutions and projects delivered in the past, updating the database of the organization credentials, understanding the skill sets of employees.
  • Devising the annual business development plans based on the business goals and objectives of the organization in consultation with the management.
  • Share the business development plans with the vertical heads and prepare a detailed strategy for achieving the set goals.
  • Initiate meetings with prospective/existing clients along with the line managers to explore potential business opportunities
  • Prepare and update trackers for upcoming tenders in relevant fields. Coordinate the development of pre-tender approvals documentation in support of Go/No Go decision to be made by the MEMI management. This would involve development of Project based business plans consisting of revenue and expenses. In case of a Go-Ahead by the management, prepare responses to tenders in consultation with the line managers and management.
  • Developing cohesion with various verticals to develop standalone and consolidated solutions to be taken to market
  • Follow-ups with clients to address concerns or issues and communicate those to management. Maintain and drives action items from Client Satisfaction Feedback sessions.
  • Prepare regular progress reports regarding project pipeline activities and actively update and maintain the CRM database.
  • Attend seminars / workshops as speaker /participant /SME to create awareness of service offerings and generate leads
  • Preparing Project Proposals / Technical documents for participating in bids
  • Ensuring the development and implementation of innovative and creative strategic pitch packs and marketing plans.
Desired Profile
  • Detailed knowledge of the Indian Power & Utilities sector, including its commercial, technological and regulatory drivers
  • Demonstrable industry network with Ministry of Power, Regulators, Central Agencies, State Utilities and other key stakeholders (ability to maintain/develop client relationships) and experience in strategy consulting selling
  • An ability to multi-task effectively and balance time between project delivery and business development support effectively
  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of Power market regulations, Tariff setting, Renewable Energy Policies.
  • Thorough knowledge of Standard Bidding Frameworks for procurement of power, working of power exchanges, long term/medium term/short term open access.
