Designation Application Support Specialist - With Leading Telecom Industry Client
Job Description
  • Responsible for managing the deployment and architecture for small to medium projects, contributing to large projects. The area of development primarily in telecom applications.
  • Applies advanced knowledge and experience to the development of new methods, programs and procedures. Interfacing with client as an expert for new requirements or enhancements. Ensuring proper maintenance of documents/Inventory. Adherence to change/problem management procedures, proper planning, check list, test cases for all the changes. Working on the RCA/RCF for al S1 and S2 issues.
  • Ensuring proactive monitoring of infrastructure. Monitoring and addressing alarms/errors in the application logs, Automation of alerts for errors and issues and also reduction in alert counts. Follow-up and escalation within the organization and with vendors for all production issues. Providing assistance and guidance to junior resources
  • Works on complex production issues through expert usage of non-standard concepts & principles requiring high level of judgment & interpretation. Determines the best possible course of action and getting the team executed right way.
  • Working for timely project rollouts as guide and set directions to the developing team. Mentoring others to eliminate all hurdles and roll block for smooth passage of project/major change delivery.
Desired Profile
  • Knowledge and experience of telecom technologies and products.
  • Knowledge of eGain / Genesys / Talisma platform for email, chat, knowledge management environments
  • Excellent understanding on CTI functionalities and API/ Web services for calling external functions.
  • Working experience to analyze logs and troubleshoot application issues
  • Working knowledge designing email/ chat workflows
  • Knowledge of integrated environment with CISCO routing engine
  • Java, J2EE applications development tools
  • Technical documentation & planning for change implementation.
  • Working experience in MSSQL database with clear concepts of RDBMS
  • Working experience with Windows platform servers
  • ITIL Certified
