Job Description
  • Prepare the annual C&B budget for assigned areas and manage the same
  • Ensure the C&B programs comply with statutory, tax and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure that the C&B program costs are in line with the organizations objectives,culture, and philosophy.
  • Design, develop and implement salary, bonus and benefits packages for all employees.
  • Manage all payouts monthly payroll, bonuses, commissions, incentives and other employee benefits like insurance, gratuity, retention plans etc.
  • Do Annual C&B surveys and periodic Peer comparison and bench-marking exercises to review the gross and net remuneration packages which are offered for employees across the retail industry and benchmark them with peers.
  • Analyze the data and make recommendations to management about tweaking the C&B packages based on market Percentile positioning and implement the same once approved.
  • Ensure parity in compensation packages for employees with the same level of experience and responsibilities, especially where no quantitative performance criteria have been set.
  • Make recommendations to managers regarding salary fitments and bonuses.
  • Design and manage GNBs Rewards and Recognition programs.
  • Create and implement employee welfare programs in line with  policies.
  • Collaborate with external vendors like Insurance brokers, bench-marking agencies and benefits vendors.
  • Manage the complete benefits enrolments, renewals and payout process.
  • Share periodic MIS reports and insights with key management stakeholders
  • Coach, train, motivate and develop team members.
Desired Profile
  • Annual C&B surveys and periodic Peer comparison and benchmarking exercises.
  • Annual C&B planning, budgeting and implementation
  • Salary Range review, rationalization and fitments
  • Payroll, Performance, Commissions, Incentive and Reward plan payouts.
  • Pay parity analysis and merit review exercises
  • Certifications like CCP or similar from SHRM/HRCI would be a distinct advantage.
  • Should have independently handled the C&B function and managed a small team.
  • Should have experience in liaising with external agencies for C&B benchmarking.
  • Should possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High proficiency in MS-Excel and PowerPoint is required
