Job Details

• Arranging ocean freight negotiation as per sourcing team requirement.
• Negotiating with various vessel owners for spot shipment and COA.
• Ensuring perfect coordination for smooth Vessel operation with Sourcing Team 
• Handling and Co-ordination with various stakeholders at Load Port and Discharge Port
• Negotiation of Stevedoring Contract for Bulk Shipments for discharge operation
• Preparation of lay time calculation sheet.
• Settlement of demurrage/despatch with shippers/vessel owners/stevedores.
• Interaction with stevedores, suppliers and vessel owners on routine basis, resolving issues.
• Tracing vessel for both imports and exports.
• Execution of all jobs related to vessel operation from Start to Finish
• Co-ordinate with plants/customers on shipping issues regulating compliance
• Ensuring timely payments in line with contracts
• MIS generation on market, freights and comparing with other users.
• Tracing market movement on daily basis.
• Co-ordination with service providers.
• Dry bulk Cargo / outbound / inbound
• Arranging for containers Freight.
• Co-ordinating with plant/CFS for containers movement and stuffing.
• Co-ordinating with CHA for custom clearance of cargo and containers

• Must be well informed in Maritime/Chartering terms and concepts
• Exposure to international trade and INCO Terms
• Commercial Acumen.
• Must be aware of basic supply chain concepts
• Inter - personal Skills
• Good Written and Oral communication Skills
• Excellent negotiation skill.
• Exposure to ARIBA or any other similar tools will be added advantage
• Analytical ability and the ability to handle lots of data.
• Marketing intelligence and Information gathering Skills
