Extremely well negotiation skills with strong analytical skills and a good understanding of structures of flexible packaging
Responsible for providing expert technical support for the development, procurement and troubleshooting of packaging materials
Finalizing specifications, standardization of quality parameters
Co-ordination with cross functional department (Sales & Marketing, Operation, Production, QA) for development of suitable packaging materials in light of process capabilities, mandatory requirements, standard layouts, etc.
Resolve and provide quick packaging solution to plant team for any challenges being faced by them during production/commercial runs.
Prior experience of purchasing buying flexible laminates [a must], pet Jars, composite containers, tin containers, cartons, non-woven, extruded bags, jute bags, BOPP multi layered bags [added advantage]
Evaluate persistent possibilities of packaging components cost saving
