Job Description

-Accurately reporting the status of all reconciliations owned into the reporting tool and works towards their early resolution.
- Completing analytical analysis and root cause analysis. This includes Performing qualitative analysis of account reconciliations and journal entry trends
- Communicating with Business Unit controllers across multiple locations on the status of the reconciliations performed
- Acting as a SPOC for monthly reporting to various stake holders on behalf of Accounting COE for the work under our responsibility. This will need having an understanding of the overall processes handled by Accounting COE
- Escalating any accounting related issues to Regional Controllers
- Implementing process improvements and efficiencies,
- Overseeing and monitoring performance of Center of Expertise assigned tasks and projects
- Creation, updating and approving desk procedures and standardized processes
- Participating in Cross functional Initiatives at the center Level
- Monthly Metric and Management Reporting
- Independently handle the process migrations
-Supervisor is expected to become subject matter expert in area of responsibility. Work involves high level of independent judgment, problem solving, and initiative.

Desired Profile

- Understanding of and experience with operational accounting and financial accounting standards (US GAAP experience preferred)
- Knowledge of Corporate accounting policy and procedures
- Knowledge of SAP accounting system (or similar accounting system)
- Prior experience in managing Account reconciliation processes in a Shared Services environment with a reputed multinational ( Preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills(English )
- Strong Presentation skills
- Effective interpersonal skills and demonstrated commitment to teamwork and partnerships
- Skilled in handling ambiguity & know how to find his way out of it.
- Research accounting issues and prescribe appropriate resolution
- Ability to pursue open issues to resolution.
- Ability to provide vocal leadership and encourage team members and colleagues to speak up
- People Management skills.
- Ability to prioritize assignments/projects and multi-task within restricted time constraints.
- Ability to network and collaborate cross-functionally
- High level of analytical ability to solve unusual and difficult issues.
