Job Details

• Design, develop and own highly scalable software
• Well versed with architecture and design patterns and able to apply the same when needed.
• Participate in technical discussions and bring new ideas on the table
• Own quality of your code (i.e., unit tests, TDD, and other test methodologies)
• Work with Product Managers, Architects and UX Designers to design and specify new features from the engineering standpoint
• Support less experienced team members in their progress and development

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience with design, architecture and development of high volume services
• Sound knowledge on large scale distributed systems
• Substantial experience with Object oriented design and programming (java preferred)
• Strong in algorithms, data structures and multi-threading
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with open source tools like Play framework, Spark, Hadoop is a plus
• Experience with various relational databases like Oracle database, Mysql and Postgres
• Experience with No-sql databases is good to have
• Experience with Agile or other rapid application development methods
• Experience with Git is a plus
• Communication skills with ability to effectively communicate to internal and external business partners on solution design
• Large data analysis and visualization experience is a plus
