Job Description

Develop strategic and tactical BD & sales plans to achieve sales target for the FY in smart / safe cities vertical. Develop new customers & consolidate existing ones. Proactively initiate, co-ordinate and manage deals through the sales cycle.
Create new customer, relationship management, create demand for the offerings, bid co-ordination, submission & follow up to sign business, co-ordinate with external & internal stake holders for development of new business.

Track and monitor the relevant markets/trends/opportunities and work closely with the VP Physical Security to create a coherent marketing/business development opportunities landscape
Develop the comprehensive ecosystem of project mgt consultants/Technical consultants/OEM to build a robust sales pipeline.
Close large deals with long gestation cycles.
Constantly work on proposing innovative solutions to the customer. Negotiate terms and conditions /payment terms and price which are favorable

Desired Profile

Education Background
B.Tech / MBA - Sales / Marketing
Experience Background
8 - 12 years of exp - maximum. Should have experience and have handled Govt (RFP based) business in the past., should have worked in Smart/safe cities opportunities in past four years, Experienced and skilled in Highly developed organizations having Proven Sales Track Record. Acquiring and building key accounts in the region, successful track record in winning large size business . Experience in the surveillance and homeland security industry is a must. Business and sales cycle understanding and experience.
English proficiency is a must.
Familiarity with Computers
Ms office / PowerPoint / excel / word etc. Proficiency
Desirable Requirements
Exposure to
Exposure to selling integrated solitions in the Homeland security market in the region, involving CCTV / PIDS / ACCESS / BIOMETRIC / Command and Control Solution / Gate Solutions / UVSS / Baggage scanners etc.
Knowledge of
Knowledge of various Surveillance / Access / CCTV / PAS / PIDS / Intrusion / FAS and other related HLS platforms. Knowledge of new and current technologies and trends in smart/safe cities in a must
Result oriented / Customer Focused / Good Communication skills / in-depth understanding of the market / Ability and Maturity to operate in remote setting with minimal supervision
