Vendor Management
Monitor performance of all service providers and extend support on operational matters.
Liaise with the system provider on bug fixes, functional testing and new requirements.

Operations Management
Manage the end-to-end revenue accounting process with key focus on speed, accuracy and integrity of the revenue and other associated ledgers.
Lead and mentor a team of managers responsible for Receivable Reconcilalition, Ancillary Revenue (non-ticketed) Invoicing, Refunds, Revenue Audit & Fraud Prevention. 
Provide expert guidance to both department staff and other key stakeholders on technical issues related to new commercial/industry initiatives that affect Revenue Accounting.
Manage timely and accurate processing/payment of Agency Incentives (PLI) & Over Riding Commission (ORC).
Develop suitable controls and conduct regular sanity checks to monitor health of all processes and sub-processes within revenue accounting.
Document and implement the standard operating procedure (SOP) for each process & sub-process in liaison with the team and drive compliance.
Represent at appropriate industry meetings (BAR / IATA) and workshops as and when required.
Benchmark the revenue accounting process against the leaders within and outside the industry continuously and share best practices.
Manage the team's performance through coaching, encouraging staff development and progression, and motivate the team by role modelling leadership and team-working behaviours.

Stakeholder Management
Coordinate with all internal stakeholders on matters related to revenue accounting.
Participate in discussions related to new sales and marketing initiatives and their impact on revenue accounting.

Miscellaneous
Ensure all assignments from the Head of Revenue Accounting are completed on time.
Deputize for the Head of Revenue Accounting whenever required.

Mandatory requirements
Graduate degree from a recognised university.
Expert knowledge of airline revenue accounting systems and processes.
Minimum 12 years work experience in the airline revenue accounting domain.
Minimum 7 years experience managing large diverse teams.
Must have experience working atleast in one full flight service.

Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office applications with advanced MS Excel skills.

Optional requirements
IATA certification in Fares & Ticketing, Proration.
Knowledge of Amadeus products (Altea, APRA).
