Job Description

Team leadership & planning:
To lead and manage a team of Project Managers, Technical Leads, senior developers and developers.
Maintaining a professional culture within the team, where individuals take ownership and are proud of delivering excellence and quality. 
Line management responsibilities will include technical recruitment, appraisals, 1-1 meetings, identifying training needs, motivating and managing performance of the team
To directly manage and provide an escalation point for Project Managers and all teams members.
Responsible for the quality and technical approach taken by team members, ensuring it is in-line with the company strategy and that projects are delivered on time and on budget.
To review project progress and overview of the performance of all individuals in team
To manage and provide an escalation point for Project Managers and all teams members.
To Plan and execute service improvement initiatives like automation tools for repetitive activities, incident reduction, etc..
Responsible for staffing as per project needs and manage Key Function back-up of resources in the team.
To facilitate the smooth delivery of all projects, enhancements and support delivered by the team
To have a clear plan for inducting new members into the team and bring them up-to-speed as quickly as possible
To make sure that all training and support that team members require is delivered internally or externally
To drive and oversee the delivery of multiple streams of work for portfolio of projects. To have a good view on detail and project delivery
Responsible for analysing dashboard information and project information to ensure both client and internal expectations are met and where appropriate exceeded
To understand Development processes and ensure standardisation is adhered to.
To ensure that stakeholders, Customers, Internal departments and Development teams understand the end goal of a project and how we are going to get there
To communicate risk and highlight pre project risk to the Customer and superiors.
To communicate and highlight all updates to client whilst projects are running
To continually engage clients, acting as an ambassador for RNTBCI thus ensuring key relationships are nurtured and developed to their full potential
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through periodic feedback and tracking action items to closure
Conflict management, team motivation and performance appraisal, leading and encouraging
Setting and tracking goals and objectives for the team aligned with business objectives to measure performance appraisal of the team
Measure, monitor and control the deviations in quality, cost and delivery
Knowledge-building on understanding of the Businesss information system
Ensures to have high performance team to delivers business value to the customer
Communication and problem solving:
To take control over critical support instances and putting into place the correct escalation and process to manage and resolve issue as soon as possible
To create a culture of promoting new ideas or up-sell opportunities within the team
To encourage pro-active discussions within the team and and with customers
To contribute regularly to discussions regarding internal process and system improvements in order to ensure maximum efficiency across the verticals.
To strive to ensure that processes and appropriate levels of knowledge are shared between teams

Strong onshore working experience with European or US Customers

Managed a portfolio of Applications providing end to end ownership for delivering services to customer and business end users
Hands on Delivery Approach with consistent output in juggling the triple constraints of delivery
Structured Risk Management through Planning, Monitoring and Mitigation
Client Relationship management skills
Proactive and highly organised, with strong time management and planning skills
Experience of managing, directing and motivating staff to deliver projects with stretching scope and objectives
Experience of leading a team of 20+ developers
Ability to solve problems quickly and completely
Ability to multi-task and stay organised in a dynamic work environment
Good in budgeting process to manage Head Count, FTE, Workspace, and Travel.

Technical Skills (Desirable) -
Good in budgeting process to manage Head Count, FTE, Workspace, and Travel.
Experience of having worked in a captive environment
DevOps implementation with Legacy modernisation experience
Strong and current awareness of external trends and best practices.
Automotive or Manufacturing Domain knowledge
