DUTIES:

• Working with Risk Managers and Trading Teams to understand business requirements and producing relevant development tasks
• Managing prioritization and execution of projects, including tracking key decision making, deliverables and reporting on project progress through the project life cycle
• Preparing a technical roadmap and producing the required tasks, resources and schedule for complex projects
• Creating and maintaining a comprehensive project documentation
• Taking end-to-end responsibility by being hands on with design, development, testing and production support
• Liaising across departments to brings projects to fruition
• Playing a key role in the hiring and training efforts for the team

• Experience in C++ with at least 3 years experience of managing teams
• Prior work experience in Finance with an understanding of various financial instruments and real-time trading risk
• Excellent project management skills and being able to manage long-term projects along with immediate business needs
• Experience executing a large migration project to a new technology or architecture
• Experience following the Agile methodology
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A good leader and can drive product vision
• Committed to keeping up-to-date with latest technology and best practices
• Able to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities as the firms priorities change
