Job Description

Business :

  • Monitor regional accounts budget and manage costs within agreed numbers
  • Ensure regular track of the manpower budget vs actuals and direct corrective steps with the resourcing manager whenever required

Customers :

  • Ensure appropriate use of alternate channels in the recruitment practice
  • Maintain appropriate relationships with vendors to ensure delivery of quality HR services while applying evaluation mechanisms and assignment of responsibilities


  • Develop and agree on a manpower plan with Corporate and Regional Business Heads and Hire critical resources for the regions in line with the same
  • Keep a pipeline of internal resources identified to take up leadership role if required in conjunction with discussions with Regional Business / Functional Heads
  • Make development plans for the identified successors to ensure minimal skill gap
  • Agree on the training calendar for the region along with the Head of Training and respective Regional Business Heads
  • Ensure execution of the training plan as per agreed calendar ensuring identified manpower are adequately trained for their responsibilities
  • Ensuring timely and accurate inputs to the central payroll team from the region to ensure salary and benefits payout to employees
  • Ensuring adequate number of quarterly branch visits, representative visits, and administration of all central initiatives like GPTW, health checkups etc in order to ensure right amount of employee engagement
  • Overseeing upkeep of all HR related data and record keeping through adequate control and checks over HRIS & MIS, personal file and Document Management Systems
  • Coordinate with Corporate compliance and Regional Administration team to ensure compliance with applicable labor laws at branches
  • Overseeing visits / inspections of Labour Officers in the region and ensure timely and accurate responses to queries raised
  • Handling all matters related to disciplinary processes pertaining to the region; conducting enquiry if required for serious matters and taking action in conjunction with Regional Business / Functional Heads and Corporate policy
  • Ensuring adequate feedback mechanism for all HR policies and practices and ensuring the loop completion with the central team in order that the HR policies are best in class wrt market alignment
  • Assisting the Regional Head/s in their communication efforts regarding various initiatives taken at the regional and central level in order that employees are fully aware of happenings in the organization

Learning and Performance

  • Keep scanning the market and suggesting practices to the Corporate team which are in alignment with Client's Philosophy
  • Ensure goal-setting, midyear review and annual appraisal process for self and team happens within specified timelines for self and reportees
  • Conduct trainings for regional leaders and other managerial positions as and when agreed
  • Ensuring publication of Adequate IJPs as per process and responses thereof
  • Ensuring fair and transparent identification of people for published roles through defined process
  • Selection of and Job allocation, leveraging performances, Team engagements, Job rotations within HR, IDP's as required for development of team members
