Designation Database Architect/Designer
Job Description
  1. Work with Enterprise Architecture and with other Solution Architects within CorSo IT to define and refine the target application and information architectures across CorSo IT No America.
  2. Collaborate with the business analysts to understand the functional and data requirements of new Commercial Insurance products and business opportunities.
  3. Work with 3rd party vendors and internal IT solution teams to ensure that proposed solutions steer towards the current architectural targets.
  4. Ensure smooth data integration of new or modified products throughout our data warehouse landscape.
  5. Actively seek ways to improve and enhance the current IT application landscape by pursuing decommissioning of existing legacy solutions and realigning the existing services to the business needs.
Desired Profile
  1. Bachelor's degree level or equivalent in computer science or related field.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in technical analysis and modeling.
  3. At least 5years of development using PL/SQL and other data loading and processing tools on the Oracle platform.
  4. Proven leadership and project management expertise; Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  5. Experience in designing solutions for high performance and addressing performance issues in large data warehouses.
  6. Accomplished interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a clear and articulate standard of written and verbal communication in complex business and technical environments.
  7. Experienced in working with a diverse multi-locational team of internal and external professionals.
  8. Strong Vendor Management skills and understanding of working within a vendor managed landscape.
