Job Details

Conduct detailed audits and reviews for providing independent assurance that control framework and governance systems are functioning as intended
Identify internal controls deficiencies and provide recommendations for improving the organisation's operations, in terms of both efficient and effective performance
Plan and conduct individual audits, define audit objectives, prepare audit plans, prioritize work based on risk and ensure adherence to the audit plan
Proactively evaluate risks and internal controls against changing trends and market / economic / business conditions

CA and other tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
Minimum 7 years post qualification experience in audit and/or operational risk preferably within an accounting or financial services environment at senior level and should have led the audit team.
Good interpersonal skills to build relationships with senior management within Finance and Risk Management teams. This will require interaction with personnel across all levels of experience and seniority..
Experience in operational Risk, Internal or External Audit in a financial institution or financial services firm.
