The incumbent will be responsible:
To provide effective leadership in design, implementation, communication and coordination of all environmental, health, safety and sustainability programs for the company in order to ensure complete safety and security of employees and minimize risks caused from operations by developing a site specific Emergency Management Plan to inculcate the culture of Zero harm among the employees.
To develop the overall HSE & Sustainability plan which will include the key initiatives required to be undertaken for the year and allocate a budget for the department in consultation with the top management. This position will develop and provide technical and administrative direction on all HSE & Sustainability decisions, which bear critical importance to overall company objectives, operations, and profitability.
To develop the HSE policies and process design regarding Waste Management, Water Management, Safety Management and Environment Monitoring to ensure conformance to environment audit standards (ISO 14001) and compliances in line with company philosophy.
To assess and manage key risks pertaining to HSE, conduct HAZOP study and achieve benchmarks with international standards.

Experience in HSE & Sustainability management implementation, preferably of heading the function

Diploma in Industrial safety from Regional Labour Institute (RLI) or Central Labour Institute (CLI).
