5+ years Software Development experience with expertise in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive and related tools in the hadoop ecosystem. Experience in Cloud technologies such as AWS is a plus.
Excellent communication, presentation skills, and the ability to explain technical details and challenges to a wide variety of audiences.
A proven success as a software engineering manager with a track record of on time project delivery.
Ability to navigate an organization with diverse teams working from many global locations, including offshore development.
Able to look at solutions in unconventional ways, recognize opportunities to innovate, and lead the way to implementation.
Strong people management skills and proven ability to successfully manage up, down, and across the organization
