Job Details

Work closely with the "Data Provider" business teams to drive data quality in the corporate data warehouse
Assess impacts of proposed changes to the "Data Provider" systems, products and processes
Monitor DQ Issue log, collate data quality issues and driving remediation DIO and business team
Assist with interpretation of new consumer requirements
Assist with determining fixes on Consumer Validations
Communicate and present regular updates to key stakeholders
Provide user testing support and results analysis for both ongoing change programs and scheduled code releases
Manage the Data Warehouse control framework, including documentation. Keep pace with change in the system environment.
Ensure the integrity of data residing in the Corporate Data Warehouse
Deliver key reports and performance metrics
Use SQL skills to deliver ad-hoc reporting to key stakeholders
 

Degree qualification in Accounting / Finance
Minimum 8-10 years of post-qualification experience
Have an organised and focussed work ethic
Have a strong desire to work closely with the business and technology teams
Be able to work in an environment that has changing priorities
Strong relationship building skills with finance teams and senior management regarding anticipated and emerging issues
Knowledge of SQL and database relationships will be an added advantage
Previous experience in the Financial Services industry is essential; background in accounting / product control or systems accounting would be ideal
