• To effectively handle Media, Government issues and the external political and media environment, drawing on expertise outside own professional area.
• To build a solid network of targeted external contacts at a senior level and well plugged in to all areas of the business.
• To effectively coordinate and support high-level influencing in-the Central / state.
• To provide good, timely advice to the Management team.
• To successfully engage government and non-governmental organisations to secure their support and raise awareness of benefits Sesa brings to the country and engage on issues that affect the business.
• To have built a strong mutual relationship with Government and other Key stakeholders on regulatory and reputational issues.

Experience in ideally the metals & mining sector / broader process Industries, infrastructure and process manufacturing. We will also selectively consider seasoned corporate affairs / liaison professionals from heavily regulated industry segments / Indutries like CII, FICCI

Key skill Required:.

• Represent the Iron Ore business internally and externally hence collaborate proactively and effectively with all key stakeholders
• Be a positive cultural agent of the organization both internally and externally
• Very strong communication skills
• Knowledge about Iron Ore/ Steel/ Port Business
• Provide leadership within the business and develop a strong/influential team
• Lead with positive attitude, persuasive capabilities and a wide base of knowledge
• Stakeholder management:
• Bring the necessary gravitas and maturity to manage the external environment, regulators and communities.
